Bora W.

Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Scanner, Found Objects.

  • Do any of our names really matter to the system? This project is about the unsustainable financial nature of our city for the modern San Franciscan. Spending the summer at California College of the Arts (located in the heart of SF’s Design District), I was able to interview a varied range of students, workers, and residents on their fiscal anecdotes in the city. Using a scanner, I arrayed found objects to capture the intrinsically expensive side of both my own and other’s daily lives. I reformed what originally started out as a Graphic Design project into something geared more towards photography while staying true to my passion for tell these stories.

  • To me, creativity is an uninfluenced, non-performative method of expression.
