• Artist Statement

  The sun is setting. There is still much work to be done. As the sun illuminates the world around him, this student works to finish his part. A moment does not last forever. Here, this senior sets up the decorations to his last Homecoming. Despite being a final sendoff, this photo makes the memory last forever. Life may move on, but this photo will forever hold a memory of the past. This is the beauty of photographing in the moment. You cannot plan what is next to come, but you can be there to capture what is given to you.

  Creativity is the desire to experiment, explore, and combine the vast spectrum of art. It means trial and error. It is the refusal to give up in one's artistic journey and is fueled by a desire to learn.
