  • Last summer my brother, my dad, and I hiked a 180 mile section of the Pacific Crest Trail that starts from the border between Mexico and the US and finishes at the border between Canada and the US. Everyday we would hike around 10-15 miles and then camp at a body of water in order to cool down and relax before another grueling day of hiking. On the fourth day of the hike we hiked from Stubblefield Creek to Dorothy Lake near Sonora Pass. Dorothy Lake was an alpine lake positioned in a valley between the mountainous region of northern california. At around 6 pm I was able to capture a breathtaking image of the sun setting behind Dorothy Lake. While I did have to take the photo with an iphone, I wanted to capture the natural beauty of remote natural places in California.

  • Creativity is the ability to think outside the box and look past the surface to find something unique from within. Creativity is not looking for the easiest path, but finding your own path of interest and imagination in order to create something incredible.
