Veiled Core

  • This image of layered, splintered wood creates a sense of introspection and complexity. The way the fragments criss-cross and conceal the center remind me of how in life, layers of experiences and emotions can sometimes cover up what is at our core. Just like the hidden center beneath the chaotic arrangement of wood, I often feel like parts of myself remain vaulted beneath memories, fears and hopes. Looking at this image makes me reflect on the ongoing process of uncovering what truly matters, and the courage that is required to uncover those layers to gain full self-understanding.

  • In my eyes, creativity means seeing the world in new ways and turning ideas into something real. It's about expressing who I am, telling stories and showing emotion without using words. In photography, creativity allows me to capture small moments and make them feel more alive and full of meaning.
