  • I took this photograph in Mexico City, at the top of the Torre Latinoamericana, overlooking the Palacio de Bellas Artes. I used design elements such as angle of view, proportion, and scale in my composition. I wanted the grandeur of the Palacio to be emphasized by the difference in scale when compared to the people and cars down below. I also wanted a more layered photograph, so I decided to take it at an angle rather than head-on. I hope my work can help us to appreciate the beauty in Latin American architecture and design, and to show the significance of perspectives.

  • Creativity in photography is the ability to turn any scene into an interesting one, and give the observer a certain feeling. Additionally, creative photographers don't always strictly adhere to the rules of photography, are by nature rule breakers, and are not afraid to explore the limits of the art from.
