• Artist Statement

  This artwork I made is my idealistic home. I want to live a calm and simple lifestyle, where imperfections are my perfections. The painting isn't symmetrical because I wanted to showcase that things aren't always perfect, but being around those who balance and make our lives worthwhile helps shine hope into our world. The waves and ocean in the background also represent how I wish to see my life in the future, free, open, and endless. I want my opportunities to be extraordinary and everlasting, and I want my freedom to stretch as wide as the ocean, never nearing an end.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity is how I relax and deposit unneeded energy or extra amounts of hyperness. It helps get a load off my shoulders so I can go throughout my day positively and feeling calm.
