This photo was almost completely unplanned; I had been taking photos of ships in the harbor when this Jayhawk overflew me, and had to rush to readjust my setup. I really liked the sweeping contrast in the cloud layers. Wine Dark Sky is supposed to reference the Homeric description of the sea, as the first person I showed this photo to couldn't tell if they were looking down at the sea or up at the sky.
