• Artist Statement

  This photograph is the moment I watched my cousin meet the ocean for the first time. Standing there in the sand, he looked so small beside the ocean, listening to the roar of the waves and watching them crash toward his feet. As he ran in the sand, it felt like witnessing the beginning of a curious relationship, one of awe, adventure, and the kind of wonder you feel when you're faced with something bigger than yourself.

  To me, creativity means expressing yourself and showing the world who you are. It's the freedom to your imagination and how you portray that through your work.
