3 Reasons to Participate in the Creative Youth Awards

In case you missed it… The 2026 Creative Youth Awards application portal is open and ready for your new creative projects!

We’ve already seen some incredible submissions, but it’s not too late to get started on a project of your own! The deadline to apply is December 10th or when 2,500 creative works have been received - whichever comes first. So start your creative project today and submit soon!

Why should you participate?

1. PRIZES FOR EVERYONE.

EVERY qualified* participant who submits a creative work will receive a FREE one-year subscription to MasterClass - valued at $120.

In addition, qualified entries are eligible for Special, Exceptional, Superior, Creative Artist, or Presidential award honors - which come with a cash prize between $100 and $1,000. Last year 605 Bay Area students received a total of over $115,000 in cash awards.

2. SHOWCASE YOUR WORK.

EVERY qualified* creative work will be seen and reviewed by some of the most prestigious artists and experts in each respective discipline AND be showcased in our virtual Creative Gallery.

Eligible submissions may also be exhibited at the Creative Youth Celebration, our annual public showcase to honor and recognize students and their work to be held summer of 2026.

3. BUILD YOUR RESUME / PORTFOLIO.

It is critical for every artist to build and grow their portfolio of work. As you consider applying to colleges or preparing for life after high school, participating in the Creative Youth Awards is a great activity to add to your resume.
