Through my work, I attempted to convey the volatility of teenage emotions. As teenagers, we often experience emotional instability. Events that are inconsequential on the grand scale of life, such as losing a game or receiving low marks on a paper, can bring us to the depths of despair. Yet, things that are even smaller, like a smile from a crush, can cause feelings of excitement and immeasurable happiness. Through the use of varying techniques including screamingly high harmonics (which I struggled with in the recording), this work expresses the elation that comes with teenage mood swings. And with the use of accidentals, this work conveys our lost feelings as we cope with our emotions.

Creativity allows me to express myself through various different mediums. Sometimes, one aspect of expression may fail, and another may come through. Music is a universal language. It enables people of different backgrounds who speak different languages to understand others' feelings and emotions.
