• Artist Statement

  "What Others Think" is based on my experience as a teen in today's society. I see and hear body-shaming, eating disorders, and my peers being scared to be themselves. I wrote this poem to express my feelings about the struggles we face. I hope people will realize it's okay to be who they are and everyone is beautiful.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity allows me to better understand myself through my unique ideas. Taking what I learn about myself means I can be a better person.
