• Artist Statement

  My interpretation of this piece is virtuosic and emotional. A lot of practice went into different aspects of this piece. The piece is very technically challenging and requires a lot of nuance. I spent a lot of time finding out what I want the piece to sound like. I have a lot of inspiration from different performances, such as Evgeny Kissin and Vladimir Ashkenazy. This piece has a lot of emotional depth and I tried to bring out the feelings of sadness and turmoil from the piece.

  Creativity is how much you can bring out your own voice. It is your own artistic interpretation. Creativity is one of the most important traits and can be found everywhere.
