The Adagio from Bach's Violin Sonata No. 1 possesses two different major types of notes: the big chords (the pillars) and the smaller fast notes (the fillegrie). What I intended to do was to emphasize the pillars, giving them a solid grounding, while letting the fillegrie freely flow to the next pillar. In this way, it is as if I am building something, making sure my pillars are well-grounded, and then decorating around it.
