• Artist Statement

  This artwork was based on a teddybear I had when I was younger. I always used to imagine what the teddy bear would look like if it was actually a bear. Reminiscing back to these memories I decided to make this artwork envisioning how my teddybear would look if it was actually a bear. I decided go to with a crystal design because I thought about how memories are fragile and they often break apart, too far destroyed to be rebuilt. To me this artwork conveys the a theme of how your childhood is fragile and that it should be preserved.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity to me is everything that you have the ability to imagine. It is what is going through your mind when you are doing your daily activities. It is also how you express your imagination in a way that other people can see.
