Snacks have always played a big role in my close relationship with my two cousins. We just always bonded over it, every memory I can remember. They were always there and we were inseparable until they left for college three years ago and it became more of a distant memory. This piece is a part of an Asian market we all used to go to. I went there for the first time in a while and without them it inspired this piece. I’ve played on this once before but I never got it quite right though when I went to the market again I couldn’t help but feel the same emotions all over again. I wanted this piece to explore and capture the feeling I got when seeing the snacks we loved in a place that we visited often. Looking back at the old memories I cherished and now grieve.

Creativity means everything to me its such an important part of life because it gives the user the ability to create anything they want. Without creativity we wouldn’t have so many wonderful things we have today.
