Endlessly wandering in a complex of labyrinth-like stairs are past versions of myself ranging from childhood to more recent years. At the bottom are the youngest versions and the top are more current ones. The building and stairs are meant to symbolize my mind, memories, and experiences, and hidden within them are versions of myself that are so distant and distinct that they feel like past lives. I hope to depict the struggle of suppressing and losing older versions and aspects of yourself as you progress through life, and how your memories become more like a maze that is impossible to sort through and easy to lose yourself in. I chose the color pink to highlight myselves as it is a nostalgic color often associated with innocence and youth. It also stands in contrast to the cold background, so that I may find my old selves again.
