As a teenager in this generation, I spend most of my time in front of a screen.

Fallen Angel contrasts purity and suffering, showing how the pure-hearted often face hardship while the corrupt thrive in a world driven by greed.

This artwork is of my older brother when we were returning from a New Year’s hike with my dad.

I sketched this turtle. I especially enjoyed sketching the patterns on the shell.

This is portrait of a peer in visual arts, it was made with a ballpoint pen using only vertical lines.

Repurposing all of the stray candy wrappers and empty containers of gum, the piece started out as messy collage in my sketchbook.

In my piece, I aim to depict how the need for social validation is rooted in human nature.

Through this piece I created, I wanted to express the feeling of vulnerability.

I thought of this idea because I like to go to a lot of nature landscapes with family.

When thinking of a concept that I would like to do, I was reminded of early chinese art, and thinking of paintings about it, I was reminded of 2 things, Chinese Yo-Kai (Yaoguai: a term for monsters or strange creatures.), and the paintings that are cities amongst the mountain side, so I took inspiration from the likes of Ai Wei-Wei, and other artists that shown the Yaoguai, and I chose this artist and movement with the cherry blossoms because china is known for its art and nature, Ai Wei-Wei was the earliest chinese painter in chinese history, and the cherry blossoms normally bloom by late winter/early spring, so this painting is taking place during a night on either mid-february or early march.
