This piece was inspired by my chronic pain. I have been dealing with it for a few years now, and it makes it so much more difficult for me to get through everyday life. I wrote this piece to express the emotions I felt having to deal with the pain through the lens of something the audience could more so understand. The process was fairly difficult. Though I had an idea, I had to keep thinking of different robot related things that linked with what I was dealing with in real life.

Creativity is an outlet I use to express myself. Sometimes it can be difficult for me to say things verbally, but through writing, I can get out the feelings and ideas I have a hard time expressing.
