Astral Apostasy

Acrylic Paint

  • "Astral Apostasy", the story I've worked on for five years, has meant a lot to me as I've developed as an artist. I've always wanted to make a large-scale drawing to represent my story, and at last, I did it! Inspired by old Film-Noir posters, I painted the two main characters of my story in a manner conveying to the viewer the main genres and themes of this story: mystery in a fantastical sense and the feeling of a memory you can't quite remember stuck in the back of your head. I'd say I successfully presented these themes in the poster and not only that, I had a lot of fun painting it. I enjoyed painting the typography, dramatic lighting, and of course, my characters in my style!
