This piece represents my own dreamlike fear I have with the idea of moving to college. I have a hard time conceptualizing what it will be like after leaving, I’m scared of what the future will hold and I’m sad to be leaving everything I’ve ever known. The grass in the foreground is what I’ve always known in my hometown, the yellow hills rolling for miles, and I’m standing in the fog, about to move, the large looming trees, the unknown covered by the fog, I’m going in blind. The figure is scared, taking one last look at home before leaving for more.

Creativity to me is an expression of humanity, a connection we have to other people, we express though not only creating creative works but sharing them with one another. Creativity is a show of emotional connection with one another. It is something you can express and others can feel.
