I really love playing Bach on my violin. I belong to 3 different orchestras/chamber music, but I started playing more solos and really enjoy it! I get the social experience by collaborating with my friends and classmates in orchestra and chamber music, but playing solo allows me to express myself completed and inhibited. It is also a form of relaxation and enjoyment for me between studying and my sport which is swimming. Thank you in advance for listening to me perform! I hope to continue to play violin in college and beyond, so I will use this scholarship to continue to find my violin lessons and maintaining my instrument. Thank you again for this opportunity!

Creativity means self expression, especially when I can perform my music on my violin. Most of my schoolwork has to do with learning what is known, solving problems with rules and limitations, and memorizing data and information. Music is truly liberating and freeing, where I can be the real me!
