  This photo freezes a moment in the cycle of life, capturing a brown bear in Hoonah, Alaska, in pursuit of an afternoon snack. My favorite part of photography is that it freezes a moment, and this photo allows me to see not only the strength of the bear, but its grace, capturing the beauty and balance of nature.

• Creative Statement

  Creativity is the purest expression of one's self and one's perspective of the world. It can be used to convey raw emotions, and is completely subjective, giving it the unique ability to hold infinite interpretations and intentions. It allows me to connect with others and express my love for nature.
