• Artist Statement

  To me, orange is short bursts of passion and energy. It is a symbol of decline in self-restraint from consumer temptation. This consumerism from media and other forms of influences create short term trends exploding overnight. When we jump on the bandwagon for the ‘next big thing’, we create a culture of low quality counterfeits and stolen designs, destroying the environment and undermining creativity.
