This is an illustration of two of my close friends on the drive to my birthday party in Santa Cruz a couple of years ago. I drew this for my advanced drawing and painting class at school but spent extra time on it because I felt like it showcased a very positive time where I was able to have a lot of fun and be myself. The drawing took around two weeks with one hour class period intervals.

In my opinion, creativity means being able to express emotions or anything else that you can't really express otherwise. For me, this also means exploring a lot of different mediums to find what feels the most authentic to my experience.
