This is a cut version of the full work, which is around 6 and a half minutes. I don't really plan things out when I start a piece. Usually I just come up with some motif and try to construct the rest of the piece around it and continuing it, making it up on the way. For this reason I tend to struggle less with coming up with the music and more with making all the different sections sound cohesive. I'm happy with how this one turned out though. Another side effect of this process is that in the case I actually finish a piece, I usually don't have a title, so I just end up slapping whatever intriguing words I can think onto the score and hoping it sounds cool.

Nothing new happens unless someone has a creative idea first. I think creativity is what causes change.
