• Artist Statement

  This poem is based on a conversation I had with a friend. I told her that I've never truly hated someone before, and that even though someone has done something bad to me, I can never hate them for what they did. My friend rephrased it in a way that was, in my opinion, very poetic. She said that no matter how much someone has negatively affected me, I can always find the little light in their dark heart. What she said to me meant a lot, and that inspired me to make this poem.

  I believe creativity is a fuel for our minds. It allows us to think outside the box, share our thoughts and give ideas to others (or share creativity, in a way).
