• Artist Statement

  In writing my poem, I took inspiration from the popular television series, Squid Game. Its underlying theme about the consequences of a capitalist society, where rich tycoons overpower and exploit the lower class, was a point of focus going into writing my poem.

• Creative Statement

  I believe that creativity is the art of expressing your own original ideas, in your own way, without restriction or limitation. It’s not simply taking the road less traveled, but creating an entirely new road. Anything made with creativity should be unique to the person who made it.
