This beautiful song reflects on the experience of reminiscing about a first date, capturing the feelings of nervousness and the desire for someone to be there for you, as well as the uncertainty of how they came together, with the thought that it could have been fate. I wrote this song with the hope that others would be able to relate to it. I produced it in my audio production class and recorded the vocals at home. I aimed to create a beat in the indie pop style, and my vocals naturally aligned with that vision. For the production, I used around 10 or more instruments in Pro Tools, including Serum, Kontakt 7, XPand, Sudio drummer, etc. I recorded my vocals in BandLab and then imported them into Pro Tools to mix everything. The result is the song you are now listening to, titled "Calling Me."
