• Artist Statement

  “Devoted” was a play originally written with a partner for a program with a local theatre company that fosters youth creativity. It was ten minutes in length, as the program required, and was produced by local, professional actors. I feel a strong connection to these characters and the themes of how devotion and loyalty manifests, and this play was a joy to write and develop. And so, even after its production, I felt I was not finished with this play, and decided to continue its evolution solo. I am incredibly proud of the final product, and I hope readers love and resonate as much with it as I do.

• Creative Statement

  To me, creativity is looking inwards on your experiences and finding inspiration, and then using your skills to bring this idea to life. I believe that the most pure pleasure and purpose in life is to create beauty, and I do this through utilizing my creativity.
