Drifting in Silence

  • Jellyfish have always been a significant part of me. I've always admired them, how they drift majestically in the water. My friends from school know me as "julifish", a unique twist on my name. I took this photo on a trip to San Francisco. Once I saw the jellyfish in the aquarium, I instantly fell in love. I just stared at them, trying to get the perfect picture. After, I used Lightroom to adjust the photo to my interpretation. The main colors here are yellow and blue, two of the primary colors. The emphasized rays of light shining in from the corner give the backdrop a gradient.

  • To me, creativity means having the freedom to express myself artistically, both during shooting as well as editing.
