• Artist Statement

  Living in a society and country where perspective is often skewed, I find solidarity in reaching for the unknown and speaking for what is right. My country, my people, my family and friends, I am unafraid to stand out and be bold. Embrace indifference and carry yourself with confidence, each action with purpose. For this piece I used rough paper to represent imperfection and reality and a variety of blending tools to manipulate charcoal and pastel pencils.

• Creative Statement

  To me, creativity is the ability and extent of your mind's creation. Creativity is limitless and nonspecific to an idea, person, or medium. It can be inspired by another's work or a unique and new thought conjured by a human.
