Fairy Lullaby

“Philomel, with melody. Sing in our sweet lullaby.” When I sing this song, it’s a sweet reminder of the child I used to be when my mom would sing lullabies at bedtime. I tried to bring out this magic by singing like a fairy would and emulating a lullaby by singing softer at times. “So, good night, with lullaby.” As I sing this line, I say goodnight to my childhood self, as I am a senior and entering a time of change. Singing truly has the magic to tell various stories through its lyrics, which I discovered through this song.
