Balancing the chaos of senior year often made it difficult to find time to draw, yet drawing had been my refuge since I was three years old. This piece captures my love for both music and drawing, centered around Felix from Stray Kids. Before discovering him, I never challenged myself to draw men, and instead stayed within the comfort of what I knew. But Felix's androgynous features and versatile style sparked something new in me. His duality challenged me to experiment with new styles, evolve as an artist, and ultimately rediscover the joy in creating. Stray Kids gave me another reason to smile. Their music wrapped around me while I drew, drowning out everyday stress. With only a mechanical pencil, I used everything I had into bringing Felix to life. I really wanted to capture him through my art because he was the one who reignited my love for it.

Creativity is the ability to express yourself in a way that reflects your individuality. I believe that it's an intrinsic force that encourages connection by revealing who you are to others. Only by creating for yourself can you demonstrate authenticity and inspire others to share their perspectives.
