• Artist Statement

  The process of making this blue ceramic tea pot was truly a teaching one. I got to learn more about the medium of ceramics and my own abilities to create. The blue flowers that are scattered all over the teapot represent when I would need to take a step back and rest, whenever I felt overwhelmed or worried I would always see these beautiful blue flowers. I have come to believe that these flowers are here to bring peace and calm during hard times for me. Being able to hand craft each one of these flowers let me appreciate the silent signs that the work can send.

• Creative Statement

  It’s that ability to transform something meaningless and into a unique world that people can relate with, understand and interoperate in their own way. Creativity is the only true way to express yourself without judgment because odds are you will find your own audience that gets it and gets you.
