I have always been intrigued by ghost stories, and the concept of being forced to stay in one place for all eternity, everything changing while you remain completely unchanged was a driving theme for this piece. I picture the main character of this piece having died in the woods, and watching a house being built around them, watching families live their lives over a period of over 100 years. Another theme of this piece (though not the main one) is violence against women that has lead to many unjustified and atrocious deaths.

Being able to express yourself freely in a medium that allows you to do so. Creativity does not have to be your entire career, it could be as simple as putting on a unique outfit, decorating food, or arranging your furniture in a new way.
