This drawing of a lion wasn’t one of my original favorites, but my family greatly influenced my choice on this piece. In the beginning, I struggled on the proportions. Then, at the end, I struggled on the darkest values. Even though it may not be perfect, my family believes it’s one of my best works and continues to encourage my artistic journey. They’re truly my biggest influence and what keeps me going every day, whether it be for school, sports, or even just simple day-to-day activities.
