I took this photo, wanting to capture the beauty I find within the ocean. I liked this photo particularly because of the rays of sun breaking through the clouds, adding a contrast i really like in the photo. I spent a while trying to capture it the way i saw it with my own eyes, and i believe this photo out of the others i took does it the most justice.

I always thought of creativity as collecting or creating things that speak or mean something to you, which is why I think my photo relates. The photo is not just a capture of natural beauty, but also a reminder that darkness is usually just a temporary barrier to light.
