• Artist Statement

  For this image, I wanted to create an abstract image that used long exposure and lights to make a scene that couldn't be seen in the real world. To achieve this effect, I used a light stick that had both blue and red lights and spun it on a drill to create the circular effect. I then moved the light stick off the drill to create the line that shoots off the main circle. I wanted this image to resemble something that could be seen in outer space or when looking deep into the smallest particles that make up our world.

• Creative Statement

  To me, creativity means the ability to express ideas, no matter what they look like. It’s more than just deciding to create; it’s about creating with intent and achieving the goal behind that intent.
