• Artist Statement

  This work is inspired by the feelings I have had over the last few months. As I embark on my journey beyond high school, I confront the realities of what that life might entail. I needed to right a story about the subject of losing a friend to confront the possibility that I might lose many friends as life progresses and the confines of school no longer holds me and my friends together.

• Creative Statement

  To me, creativity means dedicating time to a creation and having the passion and energy to bring it to life. For me, that is writing. I have a natural desire to read and imagine different worlds, so I do through my creative writing.
