I wanted to express the division between people, groups, society and even political views in the current state of our country. I took a picture of the bay with a drone to give a new perspective. The red and pink area in the top right is contrasted with the brown area in the bottom left and it looks very unlikely that they would come into an agreement. However, unlikely things do become reality, as shown in the photo, there is a middle ground, a strip of grayish white that acts like a buffer zone between the two contrasting sides. This symbolizes agreements between the groups in society. Without agreements, compromise or deals, society will fall into ruins and the only way to keep everything in order is to find the middle ground in the gray area, hence the title of the photo.

I show my skillset in a certain area through creativity. For example, I am currently studying art to become an architect and I show my progress through different art products and projects. Without creativity my art would mean nothing because they wouldn't be as interesting or meaningful to me.
