• Artist Statement

  This piece is about my hair dying/cutting process and is meant to explore the ways that I've explored my self expression and growth through changes to my appearance, specifically through hair. I photographed the materials I use when cutting and dying my hair, and used that photo as a reference for this painting.

• Creative Statement

  To me creativity is a way to make things that express my emotions and the things that I like, in a beautiful way, and in ways that make others feel something.
