Illegible

  • I created this artwork based on my own experiences with ADHD. The interior contains pages from a book about managing ADHD, while cut out paper words strewn about serve to distract the reader from doing such. The cut out paper words come from common advice given towards people with ADHD, which often expects people to simply ignore the symptoms of the disorder. The left side displays the chapters of the book neatly, contrasting the chaos within the book itself, demonstrating the expectation and reality of the condition.

  • The ability and desire to portray experiences to other individuals made without prioritization of what may be the most desirable to an audience, drawing upon personal experience and skill to create a work.
