• Artist Statement

  This is the first piece I have ever written about how I've felt with my past family issues, I'd love to win a prize to show my mom that we can make it together. It was hard to present my feelings into a piece of paper but that's the thing about writing, once you start no one can stop. I hope everyone who reads this enjoys it and might also be able to learn something from it.

• Creative Statement

  It means be able to generate an idea that is outside of the box but to also be able to bring that vision to life. It takes a great deal of effort to bring something that got created in your mind and bring it into the real world.
