This piece was originally created for a surround sound theater in San Francisco called Audium. Audium has more than 170 speakers in the walls, ceiling, and floors of the space. We did a collaboration with them at my school, Oakland School for the Arts, in which my department, Audio Production and Engineering, created pieces that we could play at Audium! We would place different sounds in different speakers, so when we were done, the entire room would be filled with sound, coming from all over the place. So when you listen to this piece, picture the many different sounds I used coming from different places in a room. The theme of the show was, Interstellar which I tried to capture by having the main instrument be something that I picture a star would sound like. This piece is supposed to represent the vastness of the universe in all its glory!!!!

Creativity is creating music, it is putting my whole heart and soul into what I create, it is the deepest and most important part of who I am. And when people experience what I have created, I want them to feel like they can connect with what I have made.
