This piece is meant to convey the grief of loss as the golden bird waits for colorful friend, while the others leave, knowing he will never get up. This piece is meant to have symbolic meaning of how grief can be all consuming, hence the tunnel of birds, but without the support of others, emotions of sadness can be turned to anger, represented by the vulture.

Creativity is a way to express who you are. In my case, I use visual art to express how I feel when words fail me. Visual art is a great way to be creative because I can use colors and shapes that convey my emotions in the moment.
