• Artist Statement

  I took a late-night walk alone along the San Antonio River, and across the water I saw a single window with light spilling out into the dark. There is something so surreal about a lone glow in an otherwise silent night. In that quiet moment, a seemingly ordinary scene transformed into something so intimate. It made me think about the stories unfolding behind that light, the unseen lives that probably parallels my own.

  To me, creativity means being open-minded enough to see possibilities where others see limits, and being bold enough to pursue them.
