• Artist Statement

  This piece is about the endangered Galapagos Penguin, depicting the top half as a skeleton looking out into the distance, longing for the other penguins in its colony. This emphasizes the importance of protecting species at risk of endangerment as well as bringing attention to the impact of climate change and human actions.
