This piece is inspired by a duck I saw when I was out with my friends. All of us agreed that it looked very grand and dignified. I thought the duck would be an interesting painting, because I wanted to try capturing a "proud" stance and facial expression on a non-human subject.

To me, creativity means being able to come up with original ideas. In art, for example, it can mean coming up with your own design rather than copying someone else's.
