I wanted to capture the vibrancy and liveliness of all the miscellaneous items you may find at a market stall. I mainly featured plants in my work because of how they represent vitality and growth. I referenced old photos of various markets I've seen while traveling, hoping to evoke a semblance of that sense of discovery in viewers. I mainly outlined my work in pencil and then micron pens, before layering in colors with alcohol markers.
