This piece is about me and the Islamic Center of Alameda, the mosque I’ve grown up with. It’s where I’ve prayed, learned, laughed, and felt part of something bigger. I wanted to write something real about how the mosque isn’t just a building, but a part of my life. While working on this, I thought about the little things that make it special, like the people, the environement, and the feeling of peace when I walk in.

Creativity means expressing yourself in your own way. It is turning thoughts into something real. It can be writing, talking, drawing, or anything that shows who you are. Creativity is personal, and doesn’t need to be perfect. It is about being true to yourself and sharing that with others.
